Understanding the name Shady Lady
Shady means moraly degenerated and Lady
means a fine and true lady. Some yachtsmen – we used to be among them
ourselves –
finds that the Bavaria Yacht Works and the ships they build are somewhat
degenerated. Having gotten to know her, we find this ship a very fine lady. We
do however admit that we once had a different view on the ships built by Bavaria
Yacht Works. This is why we named her Shady
Lady.
